Brewing and distilling at Rugen

In the 1999 we presented the first official beer distilled in our country. distilled beer spirit. This made it possible to produce whiskey in Switzerland. whisky in Switzerland. This was followed in 2008 by the launch of our Swiss Mountain Single Malt whisky. The construction of the Rugen Distillery directly above the brewhouse still corresponds still corresponds to a unique presentation for Switzerland.

In Rock cellar matured

The knowledge acquired over decades for the production of beer comes to full effect in our whisky production to full effect. Our whiskies are mainly bottled in Oloroso sherry casks and are stored in the deep Rugen rock cellar from the year 1875.
