Since Salvatore Ponzio tapped his first Rugenbräu beer almost 29 years ago, on April 1, 1993, he has been a loyal and satisfied Rugenbräu customer. This is one of the reasons to introduce the Hotel Steinbock and its Ristorante Pizzeria da Salvi.
The Steinbock Grindelwald serves pizza and Italian specialties. Salvi Ponzio sets a high value on regional products, be it meat or just: beer.
The Steinbock Grindelwald has 180 seats inside and 75 seats on the terrace. In winter, a ski bar is also operated.

In 2000, he took over the Steinbock in Gindelwald and Rugenbräu beer right along with it.
At Steinbock Grindelwald, Rugenbräu Spezial hell and Weizen are on tap at the open bar. The range is supplemented with bottled beers such as Spezial Dunkel and Rugenbräu's alcohol-free beer. The Skibar also stocks Brauer Edition No.1 Eiszapfen and the mild Alpenperle.
Our desired beer was a regional wheat beer until 2021. Now we have the wheat beer of Rugenbräu and since then we have it on tap.
