A good piece of "new home" and almost something like a center of life. Here I often spend more time here than with my family.

The popsicle beer 2019, with a new recipe, but also tastes very good to me and is, along with the Spezial Hell and the Harder Bock one of my personal favorites from the current Rugenbräu range.

The direct communication with employees is the top priority. Otherwise mainly the telephone and the computer (unfortunately). I also enjoy analyzing and and "tinkering" in the laboratory.

There where my family and I feel comfortable for a longer period of time. Since 2009 that is in Switzerland in Unterseen. Before that it was St. Gallen. Otherwise of course my original home and birthplace Villingen - Schwenningen.

I am a hobby sailor. If there is enough time, I go 1 week per year with disabled handicapped people on a sailing week. Furthermore, I have great interest in ice hockey and athletics. These are the hobbies of my sons.
In addition my wife Iris and I have a 107-year-old house in Unterseen. The constant gentle renovation is not just a hobby, but a passion for me, similar to brewing beer. All in all, that's a good balance.

My Father has shaped me and unfortunately passed away much too early. Then many colleagues who taught me manual work in particular. Also professionally, there is, for example, a brewery boss for whose work I have very great respect...
